Tumulus Gaming Development Platform

Before you dive into the world of social casino game development with Tumulus, we need to cover some important ground rules. This isn't your typical boring legal document – we've designed our terms to be as straightforward as our teaching approach. Think of this as the foundation that keeps our learning community running smoothly.

Last Updated: August 15, 2025 | Effective for Autumn 2025 Programs

Platform Access

Your access to Tumulus includes all learning materials, development tools, and community features. We're constantly updating our JavaScript frameworks and HTML5 game engines, so you'll always have the latest resources at your fingertips.

Educational Content

All course materials, coding exercises, and project templates remain Tumulus property. However, anything you create using our tools and knowledge? That's yours to keep and develop further. We believe in empowering creators, not restricting them.

Community Guidelines

Our learning community thrives on collaboration and respect. Whether you're debugging CSS3 animations or discussing game mechanics, we expect everyone to maintain professional standards and help each other grow.

Privacy Protection

Your learning progress, personal projects, and account information are protected under UK data protection standards. We track your progress to help you improve, not to share with third parties.

Detailed Terms & Conditions

  • 1. Account Registration & Access
When you sign up for Tumulus, you're joining a community of game developers and learners. Your account gives you access to our extensive library of HTML5 game development tutorials, JavaScript coding challenges, and CSS3 animation workshops. We require accurate information during registration because our instructors often provide personalized feedback on your projects.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone else uses your account to access our premium development tools or submit assignments, that's on you. We've built robust security measures, but we can't protect against shared passwords or public computer usage.
  • 2. Educational Content Usage
Our courses cover everything from basic game mechanics to advanced social casino features. You can download code samples, reference our documentation, and even fork our starter projects for your own learning. However, redistributing our complete course materials or selling access to our content violates this agreement.
The games you build during our programs are yours. We might showcase exceptional student projects in our portfolio (with your permission), but intellectual property rights for your original creations remain with you. This includes any innovative features you develop or unique art assets you create.
  • 3. Platform Availability & Updates
Technology moves fast, especially in game development. We regularly update our platform to include the latest JavaScript libraries, new HTML5 features, and improved development environments. Sometimes these updates require brief maintenance periods, usually scheduled during low-traffic hours.
Our September 2025 cohort will experience our newly redesigned interface, which includes better code debugging tools and enhanced project collaboration features. We can't guarantee 100% uptime, but we aim for 99.5% availability during active learning periods.
  • 4. Community Standards & Conduct
Learning works best in supportive environments. Whether you're participating in our January 2026 intensive workshop or joining regular study groups, we expect respectful interaction with fellow students and instructors. This includes constructive code reviews, helpful debugging assistance, and professional communication in all forums.
Violations include harassment, sharing inappropriate content, or disrupting online classes. We handle most issues through direct conversation, but serious violations can result in account suspension or removal from current programs.
  • 5. Subscription & Payment Terms
Our pricing reflects the comprehensive nature of our programs. Monthly subscriptions include access to all current courses, development tools, and instructor support. Annual memberships offer better value and include bonus content like exclusive masterclasses and early access to new features.
Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription, provided you haven't completed more than 25% of any enrolled course. This gives you time to ensure our teaching style matches your learning preferences without penalizing genuine trials.
